“Where Legends Are Born”
Nu Skool Sings Old School is a series of Live Music Showcases featuring talented kids and young adults paying tribute to the music of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Our young artists perform their favorite R&B, Soul, Funk. Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock and Timeless Gospel song recorded by some of the most memorable legendary artists of all times. Nu Skool Sings Old School is where you can see these young artists exhibit their talents, showcase their vocal artistry, while taking another step closer to pursuing their dreams of a career in the music industry.  

Our Mission: Nu Skool Sings Old School is dedicated to preserving the legacy of old school music by connecting Legendary Entertainers with Young Talented Artists of Today. 

Our Goal: Nu Skool Sings Old School is committed to creating a new generation of legendary entertainers that sing and perform music that is uplifting, joyful, celebratory, positive and soulful. 

Nu Skool Sings Old School is a community of heart-centered young artists committed to making a difference in the lives of inner-city kids, many which are homeless and underprivileged kids all over the world through the power of music and unconditional love. Our showcases feature Singers, Dancers, Musicians and Models, ages 7 to 17, from all walks of life. We create meaningful opportunities to our young artists.

Nu Skool Sings Old School features some of The Baddest Kid Singers, Musicians and Dancers on the planet. Some of our young artists have appeared on TV Shows such as: "The Voice", "American Idol", "America's Got Talent", "Showtime at the Apollo", "Little Big Shots", "BET Experience Fan Fest” and most recently “I Can See Your Voice”. And most recently, some of our kids have been featured on hit TV Show “Abbott Elementary”.

Our young artists have performed at some of the most prestigious and historical venues throughout the Los Angeles area including: Los Angeles Convention Center, House of Blues Sunset Strip, Agape International Spiritual Center, Anaheim Convention Center, The El Rey Theatre, Celebrity Centre Hollywood, CAP Studio, Los Globos, Catalina Jazz Bar & Grill, The Queen Mary, Piccolo, Los Angeles Airport Marriot, The Joint, Maverick's Flat, Rockwell Table & Stage, Normandie Casino, Hollywood Park Casino, The Mint, LaBrea Tar Pits, Concourse LAX Hyatt Hotel, House of Blues Sunset Strip, The World Famous Whisky A Go Go, Couture Hollywood, Harmony Gold on Sunset, Pickwick Gardens, Union Disco (Catch One), Los Angeles Coliseum, French Quarter Creole Bar & Grill, The Globe Theatre, Henry Fonda Music Box, Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, The Graff Lab, The Industry Loft Hollywood, Four Points by Sheraton, Famecast, just to name a few.... 

Our young artists have shared the stage with many notable entertainers, such as, Evelyn Champagne King,

Lenny Williams, KLYMAXX, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson, Mariah Carey, Will I Am, Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Lizzo, Dr. Dre, Ginuwine, Snoop Dogg, Beyonce and many others.

*Nu Skool Sings Old School is the brainchild of Creator, Event Producer & Artistic Director Brandy Sanders. Nu Skool Sings Old School premiered on Sunday, March 5, 2011 in Hollywood, CA. Our first show featured a Birthday Tribute to the Late Teena Marie. Since our inception, Nu Skool Sings Old School has presented over 90 Live Music showcases and fashion musicals. We are very proud to have hosted over 160 special events, birthday parties and holiday parties for inner city kids. Nu Skool Sings Old School is a 501C3 Non Profit Organization.
