Live Entertainment Producer & Humanitarian

Brandy Sanders has been a longtime advocate for homeless women and children. In 2004, Brandy and her late husband Stanley “Unc” Sanders begin to notice an overwhelming population of young girls on the streets of Skid Row in Los Angeles. They would later learn that these young women had aged out of the foster care system and became homeless immediately. After a closer look, Brandy became aware that many of these young women were fending for themselves, often with a child in tow, and without the basic life skills and resources to survive. Being on the streets can be scary scenario for anyone. But in Brandy’s eyes, someone needed to get to them before they became entrenched and fall through the cracks of society. From that awareness, Brandy & Stan made a commitment to make a mighty difference in the lives of these young women and children. Brandy has dedicated her life to holding the dream and keeping her late husband Stan’s legacy of giving, caring, unconditional love and understanding alive.

Created in March of 2011, the showcase features talented kids and young adults who pay tribute to the music and the artists of the 60s, 70s and 80s. These amazing young singers, musicians and dancers perform some of the most unforgettable R&B, Soul, Funk, Jazz, Blues and Classic Rock songs of those times. The focus is to create a new generation of legendary entertainers that sing and perform music that is uplifting, joyful, celebratory, positive and soulful. Upon meeting these amazing young entertainers, Brandy quickly discovered she could combine a passion with a purpose. The show opened the doors for Brandy to keep real music alive in the hearts of young people while honoring her commitment to under-served young women and children through fundraising concerts.
